Third Madani minister quits
Ewon Benedick has resigned as entrepreneur and cooperatives development minister.
He is the third minister in the Madani government to have quit after Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.
In announcing his resignation, Ewon cited a bleak outlook on Putrajaya's handling of Sabah's 40 percent revenue entitlement.
It is not clear how this will impact Sabah Pakatan Harapan, as Ewon is also the coalition's state chairperson.
The Upko president’s exit comes amid rife speculation that a cabinet reshuffle is on the cards as Investment, Trade, and Industry Minister Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz is also due to exit when his term as senator ends next month.

PKR fields Musa Aman's son
Sabah Governor Musa Aman's son Yamani Hafez is one of 10 candidates PKR is fielding for the upcoming state election.
Another PKR candidate is Jamawi Jaafar, a former assemblyperson who has jumped from Umno to Warisan, back to Umno and then Gagasan Rakyat Sabah, prior to joining PKR.
Meanwhile, PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said he will personally lead the party's election machinery in Sabah.

More trouble for 'heritage' footballers
Gabriel Felipe Arrocha, one of the seven “heritage” players sanctioned by Fifa, has been let go from two Spanish clubs.
Arrocha was on loan to Unionistas de Salamanca CF from his parent club, Club Deportivo Tenerife (CD Tenerife), and was terminated by both teams.
Another heritage footballer, Rodrigo Julian Holgado, may be let go from his Colombian club América de Cali.
