Islamist party PAS claims to have been offered help by the US in 2014 to topple the then BN government led by Najib Abdul Razak.

PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, however, said PAS had rejected the offer.

The US embassy denied the allegations, while DAP is needling PAS on why it had not reported the matter to authorities.

Harapan keeps jabbing Zahid

Pakatan Harapan leaders are antagonising BN chief Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on multiple fronts.

Former finance minister Lim Guan Eng wants action against Zahid over the Rural and Regional Development Ministry’s overspending.

Meanwhile, DAP Youth is also pressing for the Umno president’s 47 corruption charges in the Yayasan Akalbudi case to be reinstated.

Separately, PKR Youth is needling Zahid for signalling BN’s readiness to ditch Harapan and push for a snap general election.
