A boy watches DC Comics superheroes come to life in wayang kulit form on Dec 20, 2016.

The shadow puppets, made in the likeness of Wonder Woman, Superman and Batman, were hand made by Tintoy Chuo.

Chuo has worked to preserve the traditional art while keeping it relevant in this day and age.

The puppets were featured at a puppet exhibition at the National Museum in Kuala Lumpur.
