Preparing for the Dragon Boat Festival

The festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival, is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month of the traditional Chinese calendar.
It commemorates the death of Qu Yan, China's first-known poet, who drowned himself when his home state of Chu was invaded.
