Former pilot Azrin Mohamad Zawawi, 44 and wife Latun Noralyani Meor Aminuddin, 41, together with other family members man their small 'Kapten Corner' food stall selling local food at the Boomtown food court in USJ, Selangor.

Captain Azrin, a former Malindo airline pilot, lost his job after he was retrenched along with 2,200 other crew and staff on Oct 30.

“The decision to run the business was decided a week before Azrin was confirmed to be laid off. 

"This is to divert the depressed captain's thoughts,” said his wife.
