KINILENS | The Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) in collaboration with the Vietnam Women Association held a Covid-19 vaccination drive to inoculate members of the Vietnamese community in the country on Sept 4.
The event took place at the Metro Mall in Kuala Lumpur, involving 200 Vietnamese living in Malaysia.
Local and Vietnamese volunteers were on board to ease registration and communication as the language barrier is often a common problem in the process.
The initiative is the first of its kind to be led entirely by a humanitarian organisation as part of a cooperation between the Malaysian Humanitarian Coordination and Action Hub, the Health Ministry and ProtectHealth.
