Crowds have returned to Genting Highlands after the government allowed tourism activities together with the reopening of state borders on Oct 11.
Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said interstate travel is now allowed because Malaysia has fully vaccinated 90 percent of its adult population.
There has also been a downtrend in Covid-19 cases with 92,246 active cases on Oct 17, a reduction of 58.3 percent from 221,340 recorded 30 days prior.
