Video streaming website YouTube has agreed to pay $24.5 million (€20.1 million) to settle a lawsuit filed by US President Donald Trump after the company suspended his account in the aftermath of the Jan 6, 2020 Capitol Hill riot, a court filing showed on Monday.

This makes the Google subsidiary the latest big tech firm to settle a lawsuit with the president over the events of the day.
