
Journalist hurt in RM48,000 armed robbery
A journalist was slightly hurt and lost RM48,000 when she was robbed of her car and valuables by a knife-wielding man.



The government is to consider a proposal to impose mandatory jail sentence on reckless drivers who cause deaths.


The case involves a constable who has been ordered to enter his defence on two counts of causing hurt to A Kugan.



The High Court will decide this Friday whether former transport minister Dr Ling Liong Sik needs to enter his defence.
