In my opinion, he should cease these theatrical shenanigans of working the crowds to 'win' support for his innocence and hope it'll somehow sway the opinion of the learned judge who'll sit in adjudication of his alleged sodomy case.

It would be much wiser and decorous for Anwar Ibrahim, the once potential world-statesman-to-be, to stay calm and composed whilst awaiting the date of the court proceedings on the case.

It would, perhaps, be more appropriate for him sit down and confer with his coterie of much experienced lawyers to deliberate on the most effective and strategically poignant route to follow in preparing his defence.

No amount of public show of support would count in the deliberations in a court of law, but, a well planned, tactically correct, and, above all, plethora of solid evidence of innocence would be a more acceptable norm to accede.

One may have huge crowds enthusiastically listening and salivating at each and every word that one spews out, but, it will have a null effect during the court proceedings, except to, perhaps, only antagonise the sitting judge for pre-empting his wisdom and taking the case to the masses!

May I remind the erstwhile stalwart that he did same when he was removed from the office of deputy prime ninister not too long ago, and, we all saw what happened to the poor soul after that.

I, for one, do not wish to see a repeat of similar antics.

The rakyat were wise and gutsy enough to dare throw out the then ruling party in four states of the Peninsular in 2008. God willing we shall also be observant and immediately notice any travesty of justice should it be adhered to whilst deciding this coming wretched case.

Leave us to our wisdom, Anwar, and go do your homework with your lawyers. The truth shall always prevail though oft times later rather than sooner.
