As the PKR-engineered crisis over the post of Selangor menteri besar continues to drag on, it is becoming obvious that the biggest ‘sin’ committed by Khalid Ibrahim is refusing to become PKR’s ketua umum Anwar Ibrahim’s lackey, unlike DAP which dances to Anwar’s tune.

It has become a well-known fact that Pakatan is more interested in their own political interests, with PKR willing to go so far as to abuse the people’s time, energy and money by engineering unnecessary elections.

Thus, discontent has arisen everywhere over the current power struggle, and it is clear that Pakatan has taken the public’s support for granted and are no longer listening to the people’s needs.

It is also clear that DAP has lied in their promise to provide a better and cleaner administration, as the recent crisis has demonstrated that they, too, are involved in dirty politics.  

Sacking Khalid in an attempt to force him to resign as menteri besar, as well as bringing up six baseless allegations to question his integrity, is unfair. From here it is clear that those who refuse to obey Anwar will be sacked, but what is more shocking is that DAP is playing along with PKR by helping them to cover their sins.

DAP has even held speeches to idolise Anwar and to defend PKR’s motives, and as such they should be held responsible for neglecting the people’s welfare by being involve in this power struggle.

Now that Anwar has failed in governing his own party, and that PAS has also refused to play ball by allowing him to fulfill his ambition to become Menteri Besar, only DAP is left to please Anwar, and since Anwar is considered too ‘dirty’ to become a head of state, it is no surprise that PAS refuses to play ball with Anwar, not to mention the fact that PAS also has a completely different ideology than both PKR and DAP.

However, despite PAS refusing to compromise with Anwar’s ambition to take over Selangor, it is sad to see DAP still being submissive to PKR, and while the storm surrounding the menteri besar post continues to grow, DAP’ incompetence in government has allowed people to parade naked in their own state.
