新闻报导陈思源抨击马华总会长不民主和不透明。在报导中，思源指出参与即将到来党选的候选人，在索取中央代表名单时面对困难。

我们强调陈思源的指责是不正确的。马华会长理事会在2005年7月19日的会议上，议决中央代表的名单将在2005年7月25日刊登在党的网页－－MCA Online，网址： www.mca.org.my 。会长理事会的决定已经在同日刊登在网页上，第二天本地报章也作出了相关的报导。

正如马华会长理事会的决定，中央代表的名单已经在昨日向大众发布。

Dear Sir,

Reference is made to your article "Chua's downfall predicted in MCA polls" dated 25 July 2005.

It was reported that Chan Tse Yuen had lambasted the MCA president as being undemocratic and not transparent. In the article, Tse Yuen claimed that candidates who are eyeing for a seat in the coming party elections are facing difficulties accessing to the list of central delegates.

We wish to highlight that the claim made by Chan Tse Yuen is not accurate. The MCA Presidential Council that met on July 19, 2005 decided that the list of central delegates would be posted at the party's website, MCA Online at www.mca.org.my on Monday 25 July 2005. The announcement by the Presidential Council was posted on the website the same day and also reported by the local media the next day.

The list of central delegates had been made available to the public since yesterday as announced by the MCA Presidential Council.
