I would like to refer to the letters concerning Dapsy national secretary Loke Siew Fook's outburst at malaysiakini . I understand the Loke's plight of having to defend numerous accusations hurled at Dapsy or himself. I sincerely hope that he will continue to keep up his good work without fear or favour.

On the other hand, I feel that a public figure like him should be well aware that it is not a bed of roses being a 'wakil rakyat' of sorts. Loke has to accept the fact that when he is in the limelight, there will be attacks in many forms and manners.

In the same manner, Dapsy, being the youth wing of a political party that has gone through so much, should be well accustomed with allegations hurled at them, whether unfounded or not.

The fact that Justice wants to remain anonymous merely goes on to show that he is afraid of repercussions, if any. However, where there's a smoke, there's a fire. Just that we can't be quite certain as to who is wrong or right.

As for the insistence for malaysiakini to check on the veracity of the letters , I feel that it is quite a tall order. Malaysiakini cannot be expected to check on each and every letter, as this would be too time consuming.

Even if malaysiakini made a phone call to Dapsy before publishing Justice's letter , the effect would be pretty much the same. Dapsy still has to answer to the allegations.
