LETTER | PAS has urged that all billboards and road signage should have Jawi scripted on them.

And that express demand from PAS stems from its political belief.

Truly how accurate is that claim of preserving history - let alone sentiment.

But the real concern should be about cost and affordability.

Have its leaders ever realised that in this climate of new normal is the demand for replacing tens of thousands of billboards and road signs a super-duper priority?

People are losing jobs.

People are struggling against rising food bills.

People are under great duress from the fear of catching Covid-19.

And on top of all that people are also dissipated in spirit by the increasing tides of the political mess in the country.

We should be looking into alleviating people's economic, financial and health woes. 

It may be hard to swallow but the naked truth is our politicians are increasingly displaying their lack of leadership.
