Its totally absurd for Umno to spread to Sarawak as everyone can basically see what Umno has done to Sabah. The state of Sabah that was promised during the formation of Malaysia, tell me, does it still exist?

The late Tun Mustapha himself had express his full regret for bringing Umno to Sabah. The most important issue is why do we need Umno in Sabah or Sarawak knowing that this party is Malaysian most corrupted party?

If the national leadership keeps on saying that Malaysian government need to protect local interests from the globalisation effect, I would say the same too. Sarawakians and Sabahans are not yet ready to open their doors widely to our friend from the Peninsular.

It so obvious that none of the local companies or even businessmen have the capabilities to compete with Peninsular-based companies due to capital and experience - much like Proton can't compete with European or American motor companies.

The only reason Umno leaders are keen to enter Sarawak and Sabah is just to exploit our business potential beside possibly getting a bigger voting block for the general elections.

Nothing Umno has done in Sabah was done on a pure development basis. It's all about buying votes. I know because I'm Sabahan. Is that a party that we want to have in Sarawak?

But I believe in Taib Mahmud's wisdom as he will never repeat Tun Mustapha's mistake. We all know what will happen, and well, Taib knows too.
