‘Tunku Zain al'Abidin has won many more praises, and genuine ones, only because of his objectivity.'
Negri royal okay with discussing decrees
ExMajor1: Negri Sembilan prince Tunku Zain al 'Abidin Muhriz, I hope all in the royalty will have your wisdom and vision. Any human being on earth can be questioned if the need arises.
True Sarawakian: A wise statement from a prince who cherishes the value of human rights and democracy.
KJ John: Wise member of the royalty, obviously with knowledge of modern state governance.
Artchan: When Umno wacked the royalty, engineered by Dr Mahathir Mohamad and went on a roadshow to whack them, Utusan Malaysia was Umno's mouthpiece.
Now Utusan wants to look like an angel? The sad thing is that the royal circles do not know who their friends are and who foes.
Tidakboleh: A rare gem of a prince who lives in the real world of today!
KSN: This is a very positive view, a view the whole country has been waiting for. Good for the Negeri Sembilan royalty, who have always behaved and acted in proper royal traditions, above politics and impartially. Kindly Tunku, bring this view to the Conference of Rulers for other royal family members to emulate, for the sake of our country.
Anonymous_3fc4: Utusan Malaysia , lets see you spin this comment.
Passerby: Yes, Tunku Zain al 'Abidin is from good stock. His father was very patient, waiting for years for his rightful place in the Negeri Sembilan throne. He, too, is a very down-to-earth type of person,.
Hopefully, this is the type of ruler who all Malaysians can look up to and proudly call, my sultan. Daulat Tuanku!
Victor Johan: Tuanku is no doubt from the elite group, but he also had a righteous upbringing. He has had many more praises, genuine ones, only because of his objectivity. Go ahead, read about him and family, and follow him around.
SMC77: How do you classify Tunku Zain al 'Abidin as part of the elite? Is it because he went to the London School of Economics? Or because he is a member of the royal family from Negeri Sembilan?
I went to two of the top 20 universities, as published by Times Higher Education recently. I've never considered myself elite or superior than the other folk.
Tunku Zain al'Abidin is no different from you and me, except he is a member of the royal family and his family has the wealth to send him for overseas education.
Lover Boy: Why can't Malaysians be loyal to the sultans, like how the Thais revere their King Bhumibol? Reading the comments and the criticisms against our sultans is like how the British public take pot shots against the British royal family.
Boom Boom Pow: It seems that Tunku Zain al 'Abidin is the royalty we all have wished for. I hope he and others like him will one day lead all the states with a dignified, fair and royal stature.
By the way, Bung Mokhtar Radin, how is a constitutional law professor not a qualified constitutional expert? Only in Malaysia can an MP say some of the darndest things.
