Faz: Name alone cannot be a general reflection of one's religion. So, if all of them verified that they are practising Hindus, then they are Hindus and not Muslims. So what is the fuss all about?

Religion refuses to face up new knowledge; Gallileo was persecuted when he proved that the earth revolved around the sun, not the other way round as believed by the then pope. Of course, Gallileo was correct but he was ostracised till he died penniless.

It has not stop; look around us in the world today, how many religious wars are taking place? Even a brand new eight-month-old country like South Sudan is already mired in a religious war.

Kita to be dissolved, announces Zaid

Dood: Zaid Ibrahim, rightly or wrongly, and whether you are sincere or whether your decision to dissolve Kita is just a political ploy, the damage has already done.

You have already burned your bridges on both sides of the political divide and now, after finding that Kita has little or no popular support, you decide it's best to close shop to "prove" that you support Pakatan Rakyat and not Umno-BN.

You criticised some of your members for being openly critical of Pakatan. Yet, wasn't it not too long ago that you were the one slamming Pakatan on a regular basis?

What were the reasons for you leaving PKR and Pakatan in the first place? Do you remember what you said and what you did? We remember.

Still, I suppose it is better that you have repented now, than not at all. Let this be a lesson to you and know that you have a lot of respect and trust to regain from a public that has lost almost all faith in you.

Gordian Knot: Zaid, that's the correct thing to do. You are an intelligent man but a political party cannot be founded on one albeit intelligent man alone.

Some of the causes which you have stood for, and still stand for, are indeed noble and worthy of recognition.

Do not spoil them all again by trying too hard to get elected. I think you should not even try to join another party or stand for election in GE13. You will make a good chief justice when Pakatan takes Putrajaya.

By Election Fan: Zaid, your support for Pakatan and your decision to dissolve Kita are welcome. However, please do not attempt to rejoin PKR or any other Pakatan party. You are not welcome.

Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim, please do not allow this loose gun back in. He cannot work with others as a team and his loyalty is questionable.

Gandhi: Zaid, there's a saying that no one can put a good man down. You are surely not in the league of Zulkifli Nordin, Hasan Ali and Ibrahim Ali.

You are more down to earth than all of these troublemakers. It's too simplistic to say that you are interested only in top posts. They are childish to come to that assumption.

A sober person like you should see that change is imminent. The dissolution of Kita is a good decision. I hope that you stand in an urban constituency and clinch victory.
