The three main actors in Seputeh MP Teresa Kok's controversial Chinese New Year video were today quizzed by police at the Kuala Lumpur police contingent headquarters.

The three played the characters of feng shui experts Brother Wai, Master Yan Yan and Mrs Jit in the satirical clip which touched on current issues in the country including rising costs of living.

The two actors who played Brother Wai and Master Yan Yan, whose identities remain unknown, were spotted arriving at the police station around 9.30am and left by 1.30pm, but were reluctant to speak with the press.

Meanwhile actress Lim Ching Miau ( left, in picture ), who played Mrs Jit, turned up later in the evening.

According to lawyer Aaron Lee, who is representing all three of the cast members, they were made to answer some 30 questions by the investigation officer, and asked to provide clarifications pertaining to the video clip.

“For now, the police said there is need to summon them again,” Lee said.

Lim, following the end of her one and a half-hour questioning, told reporters she was “relieved” as she could now concentrate on her work.

"The police were nice and friendly. As an actress, I can't help but imagine that there would be a table and lamp in the (interrogation) room, but in fact, in was done in a comfortable office, while the officers were good at chatting," she said.

"I am happy, as this has given me a good experience," she said.

Meanwhile Kok ( right ), who turned up in a show of support, said the authorities have yet to summon her for questioning.

The DAP parliamentarian is being investigated under Section 505(b) of the Penal Code, for making "statements conducing to public mischief", and Section 233 (1)(a) of the Communications and Multimedia Act for "improper use of network facilities or network service".

The 11-minute ‘Onederful Malaysia CNY 2014' video , which Kok has labelled as a political satire, was uploaded to YouTube on Jan 27 and quickly raised the ire of several quarters which have since labelled it as anti-Islam and insolent.

While not directly naming anyone, the actors references to diamond rings, branded handbags and real estates in New York, could be associated with PM’s wife Rosmah Mansor’s penchant for luxury goods and her son, Riza Shahriz Abdul Aziz's purchase of a RM100 million apartment in New York, among others.
