No personal attacks... other than smut and sex
YOURSAY ‘They can always outsource them to external parties like the extremist NGOs.’
BN going on offensive, but no personal attacks
Ferdtan: When DPM Muhyiddin Yassin clarified that BN would not resort to "personal attacks", it was to distant the party from the stupid statement made by Umno information chief Ahmad Maslan that they would employ a “sex and smut” campaign against Pakatan Rakyat candidate Anwar Ibrahim.
Why was the statement from Muhyiddin necessary? It only means that is exactly the strategy Umno must have decided to use - personal attacks - so they can latter disassociate themselves when such underhand onslaught of sexual innuendos against Anwar were to happen.
They would not be seen to do the dirty work. They can always outsource them to external parties like the extremist Muslims NGOs and of course, that includes the willing partner-in-crime, independent candidate Zaid Ibrahim.
Anwar, brace yourself - it is coming. Umno will be completely lost if their sex obsession is not used as a weapon at all in any election.
Whatsup: You wouldn't launch personal attacks, DPM? Can you also commit to not using money? If not sex, smut and money, what else could sex-craze Umno-BN possibly campaign on?
This is unbelievable, incredible and impossible. Yes, it will definitely be outsourced - to Utusan Malaysia , Perkasa and other butt-and-chicken NGOs and pro-Umno blogs.
CQ Muar: Right on Muhyiddin, you go right ahead - defensive, offensive or submissive, the good people of Kajang are ready to take on all your bolehland-sive.
No need to 'psych' the voters after all the years of lies, flip-flops, tipu-ing and 'Melayu First' nonsense. Even the moderate Malays, including those rural folks, are wary of your tactics.
You reckon your presence in Kajang will make any difference? The Chinese voters in Kajang will bust anyone from BN, in this case MCA who is the "yes, Tuan" candidate.
Pray all voters in Kajang - be it Malay, Chinese, Indians, others - teach them a lesson they would never forget. Seal the fate of those corruptible, racist and lying politicians from BN.
We know they will resort to money over the next couple of weeks, therefore be cautious. Take whatever they offer (for that's your money), but shun them at the ballot box.
No Eye To See: With money, BN can has many Trojan horses. And this time in Selangor, judging from the recently signed MOU, there is probably a real big one.
Karma: Yes, Muhyiddin will be gentleman but then you send in your ‘loyar buruks’ like Ibrahim Ali of Perkasa, Ezam Mohd Nor, Zulkifli Noordin, S Nallakaruppan and all kinds of gangster-type interruptions to Pakatan ceramahs which you claim no responsibility.
Just look at the Bersih rallies - pre, during and post. All kinds of weapons were "found" to be planned for rallies. Then during the rally unarmed civilians were whacked by untagged police officers and after that, opposition politicians are prosecuted.
Whereas, BN proxies gathered without 10-day notice, threatening harm and riots with endorsement from BN MPs, yet they are scot-free.
Matteropong: Don't worry Umno-BN, you already have many NGOs to do everything according to your wishes.
Real Truth: So, you are asking your army veteran friends to come to Kajang and do the butt dance for which the veterans are famous now?
Mushiro: I dare Muhyiddin behave like a "gentleman" and do not use money politics, do not misuse government machineries, do not misuse the media, do not misuse PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police) for controlling permits on Pakatan campaigns, do not bribe Kajang with goodies and just be fair.
That is the meaning of behaving like a gentleman.
JungleMonkey: I do believe they will not resort to personal attack on Anwar, rather they will play up the water issue and tear PKR apart.
It looks like Selangor MB Khalid Ibrahim is already under their spell, BN has taken advantage of the entire water situation in Selangor. They have an ultimate plan to put PKR to shame.
This Kajang bid is losing momentum, thanks to power ‘gila’ (crazy) people like PKR deputy president Azmin Ali and Khalid.
Banzai: Don't forget "Apa lagi Cina mahu?", MOU for Indians which failed to materialised, ‘barang naik’ (price hikes), petrol ‘naik’, GST (Goods and Services Tax), Allah issue etc.
All this happened after BN won in GE13. Can we still trust BN? No way.
Anonymous #02382443: Parties and candidates are not judged by the short duration during campaign.
People's mind, mostly, have already been made up over what party or candidate stood for or have or have not done over a prolonged period.
Quigonbond: Muhyiddin’s promise will probably last two days, then old habits will resurface.
