YOURSAY ‘You failed miserably and yet you were adamant to get government posts.’
MCA Youth dubs Anwar a 'parachute candidate'
Ketuanan Rakyat:
MCA is Umnoputras' Malaysian Cronies Association. Umnoputras decides, and MCA obeys with tail between its legs.
The whole BN machinery is being used to cripple one person. Why all the so-called criminal charges against Anwar Ibrahim failed to tarnish his image? Because, he is being framed.
Dr Mahathir Mohamad started the shadow play, which PM Najib Razak is continuing, in spite of heavy damage to the country’s image overseas.
Kajang voters should treat this by-election as a referendum on BN’s performance since the last general election in May 2013. Vote Anwar and teach BN a good lesson.
CQ Muar: MCA Youth secretary-general Leong Kim Soon, we Chinese have had enough of MCA. What can you do now if nothing was done for more than five decades?
It was obvious at the recent EGM (extraordinary general meeting) that your interests are more focused on ministerial positions, top government posts and lucrative contracts.
With the Kajang by-election coming up, MCA view this an opportunity to entice back Chinese support with all the bulls**t. Don't you all read the sentiments on the ground how repulsive the Chinese feel at the mention of MCA?
One of those glaring cases is that concerning the late Teoh Beng Hock - why did you all stay silent, knowing what had transpired? Was it because he wasn't a supporter of MCA?
Now, that was just one incident cited - the rest is history. Therefore, don't harp on what MCA can and will do for the Chinese community.
We'd rather settle for a Malay, who is capable of discharging distinguished and honourable service, not those ambitious scoundrels such as those in MCA.
Senior Citizen: MCA let me tell you this. You talked of principles. MCA went to the polls last year on the promise they would not take any positions in the government should they do badly in the elections.
Well, you failed miserably and yet you were adamant to get posts in the government and so you came up with the EGM (extraordinary general meeting) excuse. Where then is your so-called principle?
Al least I can say former MCA president Dr Chua Soi Lek had principles. But you MCA leaders are a disgraceful lot.
Ali BaBa & 40 Umknown Theives: Please do not compare Chua Mei Fun (CMF) to Anwar. Anwar is on a mission in Selangor.
When PKR declared Anwar as Kajang candidate, the Putrajaya got the shivers and quickly sign the water takeover by Selangor. The whole Umno is now on panic mode.
If MCA think CMF is better candidate, then let the result speaks for itself. MCA is MCA, you always Make Chinese Angry.
Above all, you have no balls to stand against your partner who does not share the same dream. Just look around, we live well without MCA. It would be better if we can live without Umno Baru too.
Tikusmati: What about MCA promise not to take up ministerial posts? What about a whole lot of BN promises?
If you question this, then you will have respect, but as of now, zilch.
There is nothing that MCA says that can redeem itself, except leave the coalition. What are you there for? Power and handouts. So please do not talk so much rubbish.
Karma : Najib and BN were the biggest destroyer of democracy when they 'engineered' the takeover of Perak from the Pakatan government by force.
This was even after Najib said it was immoral for Anwar to take over Putrajaya by pulling MPs to Pakatan. BN has no shame!
Karma: Strong principle? Chew Mei Fun had zero experience in tourism but yet she accepted the chief post of Pempena for RM10,000 salary a month.
She had promised to resolve the RM50 million scandal in Pempena, but left office soon after.
Boiling Mused: Why are these so-called youths so childish? Considering they are way too old to be called 'youths', these childish exchanges are shameful and do not contribute anything positive to anyone and anything.
Instead of wasting time trading nonsensical barbs, why can't they do some real work to improve the situation in the country?
WDA: Name calling is a bit childish for both parties. Leong Kim Soon asks what kind of a leader does not bother to keep his own promises. Is he serious? I am sure he had seen the long list of broken pre-election promises Najib made to the people.
On top of that ask P Waythamoorthy how Najib hoodwinked him to get the Indian votes in the last GE.
Anwar's decision to stay on in politics does not cause pain to the people in general. Of course, it creates a lot of headache for BN.
NoBN4me: When Chinese themselves start losing faith in MCA, the party will cling on to Umno to survive.
