Stop hate politics, Umno Youth tells Pakatan

Wg321: Umno Youth exco member Fathul Bari Jahaya should not make general statements that Pakatan Rakyat leadership indulges in hate politics.

 

Be more specific and lists out your grievances so that Pakatan is given the right to reply to all your allegations.

 

You said that religion forbids us from insulting others. But look at university professor Ridhuan Tee Abdullah.

 

His hatred against the Chinese race is intense - and all this under the disguise of defending Islam. Why must he blamed the Chinese race for giving birth to him?

 

Abasir: Fathul is really saying that it was Pakatan who conspired to slander Opposition Leader Anwar Ibrahim, post fake photos and videos, screen porn at the Seri Carcosa; it was Pakatan which threatened to burn the DAP headquarters; it was Pakatan that pelted its own buses with eggs, stones and red paint and it was Pakatan that called non-Malays pendatang, intruders and ingrates and dragged a cow’s head through the streets of Shah Alam.

 

When will Pakatan ever learn that "Religion forbids us from insulting and saying things which are false, hating fellow Muslims and making false accusations, even in the name of politics?"

 

Anak Perak: It looks like Fathul is talking to a mirror.

Wira: I am amazed with Umno Youth leaders. They talk as if they are oblivious of all the violence propagated by their own members against DAP, which is a component party of Pakatan. Indeed, they have already begun to believe their own lies.

The intrusion into the Penang State Legislative Assembly to confront state representative RSN Rayer, was that not hate politics?

 

Disgusted: What an irony for someone who is advocating racial and religious hatred. Everyone knows it is Umno, even their partners in BN know that and have chided Umno for doing so.

 

So stop all the bulls**t. I guess Fathul’s article is for the consumption of the ignorant and uneducated Malays in the kampung.

AsAConcernedRakyatHeSays: Yes, that's an irony for someone from Umno to ask PKR to stop hate politics. Other than hate politics, how about no violence too?

 

What's with all the smashing and kicking of DAP HQ? It is better to clean up one house before telling your neighbours to clean up theirs too.

 

As humble as it is, it is better to mirror oneself before making a claim/judgement on someone else.

We have to agree to disagree if we call ourselves a democracy. Engage with the dissenters and win them over with convincing arguments, that is what democracy is all about.

 

Mind-moulding since 1981 has not helped this generation of young people. But seeing the other side of the coin through the social media revolution has helped.

Muslim retailers to spurn Cadbury maker, Kraft

 

Waktamnoko: These people should also monitor and fight  corruption as the former Perlis mufti has mentioned that committing corruption is a bigger sin than eating pork.

 

If they did not do so then their act would be  just hypocrisy and intended to please certain parties who may have an interest in the outcome of the Cadbury case.

 

Odin: I am sure that Kraft is fully aware of the sensitivities of Muslims in Malaysia with regard to swine. As such, it would not use any ingredient containing porcine products in the manufacture of its chocolate.

 

If porcine DNA has indeed been found to be present in those two types of Cadbury chocs, I suspect sabotage by a party desirous of seeing Kraft in hot water and lose business.

 

I do not have the time to check on whether Kraft is still using palm oil; it was some years ago despite the vigorous campaigns against the oil mounted by certain western parties with vested interest. This may have some bearing on the issue at hand.

 

The sensible thing to do is to seek Kraft's explanation and, on receiving it, act in a mature, reasonable manner. The inclusion of the porcine product may have been inadvertent; and if this is the case, an apology from the company would be expected and considered sufficient.

 

If the inclusion was intentional but it was the work of a saboteur, then logic tells us that the company ought to be excused.

 

Sirach: It is insane to think Cadbury could have done this deliberately. If it was accidental, as is likely, and if Cadbury has apologised, vowed to investigate and put things right, why then are these people up in arms? 

 

Is it necessary to demand the pound of flesh? Someone should tell them that "to err is human and to forgive divine".
