Both MCA, Gerakan fishing in troubled waters

YOURSAY ‘Putting blame of extremism on Pakatan is the worst opportunism.’

MCA: Can't wed or die in peace in Pakatan states

Wira: MCA, good question - why such nonsense only happen to Pakatan Rakyat states? Everyone knows.

Religion is a trigger point made more sensitive by Umno and their sidekicks, including many utterly BTNed officers in the civil service condoned over the years by the ‘yes men’ in MCA, Gerakan and MIC.

All civil servants at state level, except those on contract by the ruling executive, are also seconded from JPA (Public Service Department). They are supposed to be politically neutral, especially those in senior positions. Actual events tell us otherwise.

Ferdtan: Given the prosecution of opposition leaders for the much milder (it’s arguable whether they are indeed seditious) statements under Sedition Act, then Penang MCA deputy chief Tan Teik Cheng’s statement of wondering if the opposition bloc is planning to get rid of all non-Muslims in their states is quite an obvious incitement of racial disharmony.

Police, it is time to summon him for questioning. Why the double standard? One for BN and another for opposition?

Penang MCA deputy chief Tan Teik Cheng, don’t pretend to be stupid when you blame Pakatan governments for all the harassment of non-Muslims by the states’ Islamic religious departments.

We all know it, including all the MCA leaders, who are behind these religious departments. It is open knowledge that they take instruction from the BN federal government; and that includes your party, MCA, with Umno as the big brother.

Like DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang said MCA should reject , on principles, the soon-to-appointed cabinets’ posts for MCA leaders as a protest for the intending hudud bill proposed by Selangor Umno.

Teik Cheng, tell us who are playing up such divisive politics? If you don’t know then you have no business to be in politics.

Geronimo: Everest climber M Moorthy's case of his body being snatch away from his family happened in 2005, and that was when the Penang and Selangor states were under the BN (read MCA and Gerakan included) watch.

Where were you, Teik Cheng and Gerakan Youth chief Tan Keng Liang then? We did not hear you speaking up as vociferous as you are now just because the states are now under Pakatan. If you want to score brownie points, please do it somewhere else.

Tholu: Hello, you MCA and Gerakan people, don't try to fish in troubled waters. We can see through your selfish agenda in making such insincere claims. This is not the time to exploit the situation to gain political mileage.

And Teik Cheng, your questioning if Penang government is planning to get rid of all non-Muslims in their states is the most ludicrous and idiotic statement that reflects your extreme stupidity.

Why would a mostly Chinese-based political party that has the majority seats in the government and that relies a lot on Chinese votes to remain in power want to rid the non-Muslims in their state?

In your eagerness and rush to take advantage of the Islamic authorities’ raids in these states against non-Muslims to condemn the state governments, you have let your imbecility and malicious character to manifest itself.

If you are sincere, you should be working with Pakatan in finding a solution to solve these overzealous acts of the Umno-backed Islamic authorities.

Powerpuff: What an interesting thing for Tan to say "can't wed or die in peace in Pakatan states". Frankly, BN leaders are focusing on Pakatan states, first on politics, then crimes but that didn't faze their supporters.

So now they change their tactic - the use the religious bodies to behave in an overzealous way in the Pakatan states to get the people to lose faith in Pakatan and to support BN.

Casey: What do you expect the servile civil servants, and similarly the sycophants from MCA and Gerakan to do? Answer: take order and dance to the tune of their master in Putrajaya to undermine Pakatan's state governments.

Unfortunately for Pakatan, there's this Khalid Ibrahim, a Trojan horse.

2Kali5: Those civil servants in the opposition states were appointed by Umno-BN when they were in power. Simple as that for which these two critics just don't or refuse to see. No wonder, their parties as good as dead.

Apa Nama: Teik Cheng and Keng Liang, are marriage and funeral take place only in Penang, Selangor and Kelantan?

Your master Umno is going for hudud in Selangor. You better go and stopped them and also your respective party's presidents for taking a post in cabinet.

Thinking Aloud: MCA, your stupidity is quite beyond belief. Putting the blame on religious extremism on Pakatan is the worst political opportunism, which shows how desperate and unacceptable your type of leadership has descended.

If you think non-Malay voters are as stupid as you are, think again. You will not only lose, you will be despised.

Oriole: Tan and Tan are stating facts so one can't disagree with what they are saying. What are the state governments of these states doing to stop the bullying of minorities?

Being told that it is orchestrated by Umno and its slaves in BN is not an answer nor a solution. Stop these fanatical idiots of these agencies.

That said, Tan and Tan you are no better, since you clownish slaves in MCA and MIC are responsible for creating the conditions that have led to this level of fanaticism.

The long and short of it is that every politician is just that - an opportunistic blood sucker out to get some political mileage from people's misery.

Homesick: Oriole, you still don't get it, do you? These fanatical idiots takes their orders from Umno. So with your wisdom, tell the rest of the right thinking Malaysia, how to stop them?

The PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police), judiciary, etc, are all taking orders from Umno. The main reason Umno is causing all these idiotic nonsense in Pakatan states is that they hope that the rakyat in these states would pin the blame on the Pakatan politicians.

Kubang: Wasn't it the case that eight MCA representatives in Selangor gave their consent to the passing of the Islamic Law Administration (Amendment) Bill in 1989, which allowed a parent to unilaterally convert his or her child(ren)to Islam?

Umno, PAS bring hudud showdown to S’gor
