Ibrahim Ali rekindles 'swine conspiracy'

After Ridhuan Tee Abdullah, Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali has rekindled the swine conspiracy blaming DAP in the move to oust Selangor Menteri Besar Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
In a statement today, Ibrahim said DAP found it a "bit difficult" with Khalid regarding the RM100 million mega integrated pig farming project in Sepang.
With PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail helming the state, Ibrahim (right) claimed she would be a "tool" of DAP, since her husband Anwar Ibrahim would dance to the party's tune.
He claimed that DAP had succeeded in using Anwar in the move to topple Khalid.
Yesterday, Ridhuan, in his column published in Sinar Harian , warned that Selangor would be known as " Selangor Darul Babi " if Khalid is removed.
Meanwhile, Ibrahim also continued to lambast PAS for its decision to back Wan Azizah to replace Khalid.
Previously, he had described PAS as a "coward" and now he claimed that the Islamic party was "kneeling before Anwar".
'Victim to Anwar's manipulation'
He said while PAS "has falled victim to Anwar's manipulation", the latter, on the other hand, is a "tool" of DAP.
"So it would be proper to change Pakatan Rakyat's name to 'Parti Anwarinas SeMalaysia' with the acronym PAS.
"DAP would surely agree since PAS is also dancing to DAP's tune," he added.
Ibrahim criticised PAS for its "cover-up" by making the claim that since Khalid was sacked from PKR, the central committee’s decision to back Wan Azizah did not contradict the stand of the syura council.
"This (justification) is really funny. It insults the intelligence of Muslims," he added.
The PAS Syura Council, headed by its spiritual adviser Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, had expressed support for Khalid before he was sacked on Aug 9.
Coalition of equals
On Sunday, the PAS central committee endorsed Wan Azizah and her deputy Azmin Ali for the post of Selangor menteri besar.
However, Pakatan decided to only submit Wan Azizah's name to the palace.
Separately, DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang insisted that Pakatan is a coalition of equals , in contrast to the BN, which he claims to be a one-party hegemony led by Umno.
“DAP leaders are not stooges of PAS and PAS leaders are not puppets of DAP - similarly, PKR are not stooges or puppets of DAP or PAS.
“We in the DAP, PAS and PKR are not in politics for profit or self-gain but because of our political principles and convictions, for which many of us had paid a heavy personal price, unlike the Umno (or) Barisan Nasional leaders and politicians,” Lim said today.
He claimed that when Umno insisted on what should be BN policy, none of the other BN component parties would oppose it.
