Kayveas, you can always come to water our plants

YOURSAY ‘We object to our money being used to line the pockets of cronies.’

'Might as well expect Rosmah to cook for you'

Pemerhati: PPP president M Kayveas conveniently and deliberately avoided the fact that the main reason why Umno and BN are increasingly being rejected by the people is because the top leaders are perceived to be highly corrupt.

News items such as the fact that former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s son is a billionaire or that PM Najib Razak’s stepson and Sarawak governor Abdul Taib Mahmud’s children own properties worth hundreds of millions overseas strengthen and confirm that suspicion and perception.

Mahathir recently advised the Selangor Umno on how they should avoid going to rural areas in luxury cars so as not to make the people think they are corrupt.

It is because of his massive theft from overpriced contracts and skewed IPP (independent power producer) type of deals the people are forced to pay much higher prices for basic necessities such as electricity, transport, etc, and the high prices of these items then increase the prices of other goods.

Speaking Sense: "The prime minister can come to your house, you can call (PM’s wife) Rosmah (Mansor) to cook for you, (Selangor Umno chief) Noh Omar can wash your car, and I can come water your plants," he told delegates at the opening of the Selangor PPP convention in Ampang today."

Kayveas is telling the truth - these are the only things Najib, Rosmah, Noh and the PPP president are good for because they certainly don't know how to run the country.

Vijay47: Kayveas, your familiarity with the chores required of a gardener cannot be said to be surprising. After all, the lofty position of labourer which you aspire to would be the most you can expect from your Umno masters and an office you would be exceedingly grateful for.

But what is distressing of your comments is that Indians, despite the betrayal they experience, have generally long discarded their subservient mentality and instead endeavour hard to achieve better fortunes.

But I suppose there will be exceptions, a role you consistently play most ably. I recall your similar abysmal lack of pride and spine when Malacca's Rustam Ali openly and ruthlessly savaged you at your own party's convention a few years ago.

Being the abject boot-licker you are, there was nary a squeak from you and here you are again, seeking Umno feet to do ‘pooja’ to.

Yes there is hope, Kayveas. If Rosmah has no cooking duties for you, she might still need you to do her washing, which she obviously has much of.

Survivor: Kayveas is using reverse psychology by confirming that Umno Baru is a slave master. MIC and MCA cannot question the slave master when they are helping the Malays.

They know that they will try to champion for their own community but will get nowhere due to Umno Baru's obstacles, and yet still cannot question them.

He very smartly criticised Rosmah and Noh Omar. You can see Noh Omar's head swell like coconut without realising that Kayveas is telling him that Umno Baru is the cause of their presence agony.

Pputeh: "Kavyeas said the rakyat must work hard on their own to improve their lives."

Of course, we have to work. That’s what we have been doing all the while. What about you, ministers. Do you work?

Contracts given to your grandmothers/grandfathers and this bleeds the people. It’s so easy for Kayveas to say what he says. Where were you when Perkasa chief Ibrahim Ali threatened to burn the bibles?

Whatsup: We work and work, Umno-BN takes and takes. Kayveas, we rather listen to Pakatan Rakyat's promises which are music to our ears and to our hope of a better future, knowing they will fulfil them when they take Putrajaya.

Umno-BN has done nothing but increase cost of everything, burdening us further. Every promise is broken, what more do you want to say? Say what you may to earn your crumbs. You're as low as one can go.

Kit P: We object to our hard-earned money, which is taxed, being used to line the pockets of cronies. That is what the secret toll agreements, secret IPP agreements, the projects awarded at super-inflated prices.

PPP and Kayveas have absolutely no answer to that - only total silence - or maybe they partaking in it as well.

Anonymous_3e86: Pakatan hasn't been given the chance to be Putrajaya. Until then, the rakyat can't tell if their promises will be fulfilled.

But one thing is for sure, BN has not kept their promises. Instead, the plundering continues unabated.

I would rather take a chance to allow Pakatan to rule for at least two terms and make my judgement after that. Then I can decide which party is better for the country.

As it is BN, especially Umno, is taking the country backwards. I don't want my children and grandchildren to be treated like illegal immigrants.

MatrixLYN: You mean, if I believe in BN instead, Anwar Ibrahim will come wash my car? And Lim Guan Eng will cook for me?

Sold! Where do I sign up to vote BN?
