PM plans to fail if Puad tabbed to rebut Dr M
YOURSAY ‘Puad is using the ‘murder issue’ and ‘the Sirul issue’ interchangeably.’
Info arm Jasa to launch offensive against Dr M
Commentable:
Special Affairs Department (Jasa) director-general Puad Zarkashi, there are a few questions for you.
1) Is it Jasa's job to ‘face the situation’ either way (defensively or offensively), considering the situation you are talking about is a gruesome murder whereby the mastermind is clearly still at large?
2) Former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad has every right to raise the ‘Sirul (Azhar Umar)’ issue because there is a huge elephant in the room and everybody in the government is tiptoeing around it pretending it's not there.
3) Every sane and intelligent citizen wants this crime resolved in a responsible and satisfactory way.
4) Although the case has been decided by the court, there are crucial pieces of the jigsaw still beckoning to be found and put in place.
5) Puad is using the ‘murder issue’ and ‘the Sirul issue’ interchangeably. One is the case whereas the other is the murderer, so which issue are you "tackling properly"?
6) Finally, what has this ‘issue’ got to do with smearing the government? Do you mean the government is involved so you need to do the ‘attacking’?
Odin: Puad, it is immaterial that the court has made a decision. What is material is whether the trial processes have been conducted in an appropriate manner.
The people out here with brains and not mud between their ears hold the view that there have been abnormalities aplenty. Small men with little minds like you can shout and scream all you want, but it isn't going to change that view.
In actuality, your party lost the election at the GE13. It has won only with the connivance of your much-despised Election Commission. Had the EC done its job in a proper, acceptable manner, you would not be featured in this report now but eking out a living in some godforsaken place.
Not Smart: Puad, if you consider that Tun’s critics as very negative, why won’t you want to consider the manner the case was handled by the respective authorities from the time of investigation and up to the decision by the apex courts, whereby so many pertinent/relevant people and issues relating the case were not called and accounted before closing the case?
The public seems to have a lot more knowledge on the case than those respective authorities that handled the case. This itself shows how negative the public are towards the authorities.
Anonymous #63753867: Here’s a list of who is who on the case: Abdul Razak Baginda - close confidante to PM Najib Razak. Azilah Hadri - bodyguard to Najib. Sirul - bodyguard to Najib.
Lance corporal Rohaniza Roslan (who accompanied Azilah and Sirul to apprehend Altantuya) - bodyguard to Rosmah Mansor (wife of Najib).
Nasir Safar (who drove a blue Proton Saga to Abdul Razak's residence on that night to monitor the action/apprehending of Altantuya) - special adviser to Najib.
Musa Safri, the aide de camp to Najib and senior commander of Sirul and Azilah, was very conveniently omitted from the entire court proceedings.
Also the famous SMS, “I am seeing IGP at 11am today ... matter will be solved ... be cool”, was purportedly sent by Najib to Abdul Razak.
So Jasa, don't waste the rakyat's money. The real murderer/s (not only the ‘convicted’) must be hanged.
Swot Strategist: “A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people," said John F Kennedy.
In Malaysia, to have the truth in your possession, one will likely be pursued till guilty and sentenced to death like former private eye P Balasubramaniam.
SusahKes: Najib has already lost the battle when he picked someone the calibre of Puad - way too inferior - to head off Mahathir's incessant criticism and salvos.
As much as we feel that Mahathir has a lot to be accountable for during the years that he held office, his ability to survive the heat of political battles are to this day, legendary and unmatched by anyone.
Mahathir is the Muhammad Ali of the political boxing ring - the undisputed champion. He is a genius when it comes to maneuvering - and surviving - the rough course of politics.
Puad? He is nowhere near Mahathir's calibre. They say that, when you fail to plan, you plan to fail. And Najib appears to be doing precisely that - planning to fail.
Meh: Can Najib use government agencies to defend personal allegations against him that has nothing to do with government, for example allegations of murder and corruption by him or his wife?
Kit P: Puad is purely an Umno politician, being paid a top grade civil servant's salary. It is an abuse of power for Umno to use government machinery and government funds for purely political propaganda.
Mushiro: Why should Jasa protect the government when the government is not involved in the murder of Altantuya. Or is Jasa admitting that top government leaders are involved?
If it was wrong for Mahathir to raise the issue of Sirul like what Puad claimed, then go ahead and sue Mahathir. After all, the IGP has already cleared Mahathir of sedition.
MinahBulat: Puad, you have one big problem in your offensive. Dr M does not wear tight T-shirt with V-neck collar and he certainly does carry big handbag.
That was your directive to parents on how to spot a gay child right? Now how is Jasa going to attack Dr M?
