PMTG PAUH PKR has challenged Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin to admonish Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak for spending too much time overseas.

PKR election director Saifuddin Nasution ( left ) posed this as a response to Muhyiddin who said that PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail would not have enough time to do a good job as both Kajang state assemblyperson and Permatang Pauh MP.

"Muhyiddin should be brave to reprimand Najib who spends more time overseas although he holds the finance portfolio, is Pekan MP, prime minister and adviser to 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) altogether

"On top of that, he's facing (former prime minister) Dr Mahathir Mohamad's attacks," said Saifuddin at PKR's daily press conference in Permatang Pauh today.

"It's better for Muhyiddin to worry about Najib than to worry about Wan Azizah."

Pagoh backwards

Defending his party president further, Saifuddin pointed out the distance between Selangor and Penang was not that far and facilities today were in abundance for one to travel to and fro.

"A Firefly flight from Subang to Penang at 6am today costs only RM40 and within an hour, you would have reached here already.

"Even without a helicopter, we can move from one place to another efficiently," he said, referring to Umno MPs' penchant for chartering private helicopters to visit their constituencies.

Commenting on Muhyiddin who said that Permatang Pauh was behind in terms of development, Saifuddin said Permatang Pauh was much better than Pagoh (of which Muhyiddin is MP for) in terms of facilities and employment opportunities.

"Permatang Pauh is much better than both Pagoh and Pekan," he quipped.

Saifuddin added that PKR should take pictures of Pagoh to prove his point and the pictures will be shared with the media.
