The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today said it never denied the authenticity of a flow diagram published by Malaysiakini on the money trail involving SRC International.

It also denied SRC International's claim yesterday that MACC rubbished the authenticity of a draft charge sheet against Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.

Malaysiakini had published a diagram (photo) showing alleged flow of funds from the former 1MDB subsidiary into Najib's account.

"The MACC denies SRC International's claim.

"This is untrue because our Aug 3 statement did not make any reference to the draft charge sheet or the fund flows diagram, as claimed by SRC International," MACC director of investigations Azam Baki said in a statement.

"We would like to remind SRC International or any others to never ever implicate MACC in their press statement because this will cause confusion."

He said the probe was still ongoing and that SRC International should make its two directors, Nik Faisal Ariff Othman Kamil and Suboh Md Yassin, available for questioning.

SRC wants AG to go after M'kini, Sarawak Report

SRC International in a statement yesterday claimed MACC had denied the authenticity of the draft charge sheet and flow diagram.

"In the interest of full disclosure, we ask the good office of the attorney-general to conduct a full investigation into these claims and the alleged charge sheet published by Sarawak Report and fund flows diagram published by Malaysiakini.

"We ask that the parties responsible for these fabrications be identified, given that their authenticity was denied by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission on Aug 3, 2015," SRC said.

It also accused Malaysiakin i of "working hand-in-hand" with "foreign-controlled blog" Sarawak Report .

SRC said the websites published allegations based on fake documents to mislead the public.

The RM4 billion it borrowed from KWAP is accounted for on its balance sheet and was not misappropriated, it said.
