Bukit Aman will be calling in PKR's Batu MP Tian Chua for questioning on the matter of Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah's meeting with Sulu princess Jacel Kiram, said inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar.

This is after Nurul Izzah was questioned on the same matter at the Bukit Aman police headquarters yesterday.

Khalid also said that her investigation is under Section 124L of the Penal Code for attempting to commit sabotage, though he did not specify if this is extended to Tian Chua as well.

The police chief said this at a press conference after attending the Inspector Graduation ceremony at the Malaysian Police Training Centre in Kuala Lumpur today.

A picture of Nurul Izzah with Jacel had gone viral on social media last week.

She had defended herself saying that on Nov 9, she was in the Philippines along with Tian Chua, as part of a PKR delegation meeting with various stakeholders there.

They were hosted by the Council on Philippine Affairs, the Asian Institute for Democracy, the Office of the City Mayor of Manila and the Office of the Vice-President of the Philippines, she said.

"They decided on the list of leaders whom we were to meet," she said.

Nurul Izzah was summoned to Bukit Aman yesterday for questioning but later said she was not informed under what section of the law she was being investigated under.
