A PKR grassroot leader has warned his party against the consequence of the alleged ‘Rawang Move’, which aimed at replacing Azmin Ali with the party's newest high profile member, Saifuddin Abdullah, as Selangor menteri besar.

"We are thankful of the 'Kajang Move', now we have a (state) leader who cares about the people in Selangor.

"Don't come up with a 'Rawang Move'; don't take the wrong step until voters get fed up and run away from us," said Mambong PKR division chief Willie Mongin.

The former Mambong parliament seat candidate in Sarawak urged the party to be prepared as the government in waiting, and settle its difference of all levels.

He said that when debating the party president Wan Azizah Wan Ismail policy speech at the PKR 2015 national congress.

Blogger Babab.net had claimed that PKR Rawang state assemblyperson Gan Pei Nei would vacate her seat to make way for Saifuddin to contest in a by-election.

Both Azmin and Saifuddin had denied the speculation.

According to the blog, the move to remove Azmin was initiated after his apparent refusal to remove PAS members from the Selangor state executive council posts.

'Who wants to take photos with Najib?'

Meanwhile, PKR senator Siti Aishah Shaik Ismail has defended party vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar, who found herself in hot soup for meeting Sulu ‘princess’ Jacel Kiram.

Jacel’s father had ordered the Lahad Datu instrusion in 2013 that claimed the lives of nine security personnel.

Siti Aishah said that Jacel was not the only Kiram to have met Malaysian politicians.

The young senator alleged that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak had met the brother of the late Jamalul Kiram III in 2012, who was invited to observe the Umno general assembly.

"Izzah is beautiful, so the people want to take picture with her. Najib is bad; who wants to take picture with him? That is the issue here.

"Coincidentally, it was (the late Jamalul) Kiram's daughter who asked Nurul to take photos with her," she said.

"Najib had invited the family member of Kiram to attend Umno (general) assembly in 2012. Why was there no investigation?" she asked.

The self-proclaimed Sulu sultanate had denied media reports claiming that Najib and Esmail Kiram II, the brother of Sulu sultan Jamalul Kiram III, met to negotiate the conflict in Sabah.
