Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak could only shake his head on claims made online that the Sultan of Johor had refused to shake his hand.

Commenting on the claim today, Najib said the Johor ruler had in fact waited for him at the palace.

“I drank tea with him, rode in the car driven by the Johor Sultan,” said Najib to applause from the audience at the launch of the Kami Anak Felda (KAF) association in Kuala Lumpur today.
