Anti-Bersih red shirts individuals disrupted the Bersih roadshow in Kuala Selangor, this time even manhandling members of the media.

The scuffle happened just as deputy inspector-general of police Noor Rashid Ibrahim warned Bersih and anti-Bersih groups not to clash.

Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Md Yunos, who leads the anti-Bersih movement, was not present this time but the group who harassed Bersih members and journalists included Umno Youth exco member Armand Azha Abu Hanifah and Tanjong Karang Umno Youth deputy chief Shahrizal Shaari.

Umno Youth grassroots leader quit

Some 30 Umno grassroots leaders led by suspended Umno Youth exco Mohd Rafiq Naizamohideen announced their exit from the party.

Mohd Rafiq said he was undecided which party he would join, but is considering Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu).

Umno secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said his party was unfazed by the resignations and disparagingly called Bersatu "Parti Pecah Melayu Berhad" (the party that breaks up Malays), among others.

Meanwhile, Umno vice president Hishammuddin Hussein warned Umno members in Terengganu not to underestimate Bersatu.
