Ops Baby

A team from the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants (Atipsom) Unit of the Bukit Aman CID, raided five clinics in Selangor and Negri Sembilan yesterday over an investigation into the alleged sale of babies, in an operation dubbed 'Ops Baby'.

This after an MP asked why does police chief Khalid Abu Bakar seemed to be denying the rise in babies being sold in the black market locally, despite information that Malaysia is sadly, a hub for this trade, as recently depicted in an Al-Jazeera's '101 East' segment.
