‘Repent and disown Umno, and Bersatu will embrace you’

YOURSAY | ‘PAS president was MB for one term until he was tossed out by Muslim voters.’

Repent, disown DAP and we will embrace you, PAS tells Dr M

Malaccan: Arrogance personified when PAS research director Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki's party has not won power beyond destitute Kelantan and for a brief period in Terengganu, but expect national leadership.

Arrogance unashamed when his party president was menteri besar for one term until he was tossed out by Muslim voters, but now claiming to speak for all Muslims.

Arrogance defined when PAS claims to 'own' seats which they could not win for decades. Arrogance exemplified when it wants all others to follow their lead, but in what? Electoral defeat after defeat? They hawk their experience as a reason, but experience in failures and rejections is nothing to follow.

Arrogance profound for not appreciating the contributors to their past successes and demonising these former leaders.

Arrogance supreme for ingrained ingratitude to those who have done so much for the party at great personal expense, a price that none of the current leaders have paid or have been willing to pay.

Arrogance ultimate to want others to repent, when they have not.

RKR: “Zuhdi has singled out DAP saying there is no redemption for it.”

He has not said anything about MCA and Gerakan although these two parties too are against PAS’ Islamic state objectives.

So, isn't it clear that PAS is play-acting this drama about wanting an Islamic state? The truth is PAS just wants BN to remain in government.

Mushiro: Why should former PM Dr Mahathir Mohamad repent for his actions and make good on all the wrongs he had committed against PAS in the past and disown all links with DAP, if he wanted to court PAS?

These are terms meant to spite and not to unite. Is PAS such a strong party that it can guarantee votes? As it is, PAS cannot even guarantee 40 percent of the Muslim votes.

Ib: Do PAS leaders think they are God - telling others to repent before they can join? Do they have any idea what they need to do to serve the rakyat?

What about the floods? And the rape of the forests at the expense of the Orang Asli? And their confusion over race and religion?

Where is the compassion in their hearts? When they look at others, do they see human beings or unworthy sinners unlike themselves?

Tangling: Indeed, shouldn't it be the other way around? Repent, disown Umno and Bersatu will embrace you.

FellowMalaysian: While the most pressing problem of the day is centred around 1MDB's woes and corruption, the neophyte from PAS takes time off to chastise Mahathir and DAP for working together in a joint effort to unseat "MO1" (Malaysian Official 1).

Any party which is not Islam-based like DAP, MCA or Gerakan is not eligible to work with PAS as their aspirations are incongruent and discordant with Islamic thoughts and teachings. Even Mahathir must repent because of his past 'diabolical' actions against the Muslim party before PAS decides whether to accept him.

Thus, PAS under their new but able and illustrious leader Mohd Zuhdi Marzuki has decreed that DAP and Mahathir's Bersatu are not worthy enough to be considered as PAS' equal and PAS has rightfully rejected their overtures.

So PKR's Azmin Ali has to hang his socks now and stop wasting his precious time pursuing the unattainable and that which the high order has spoken.

Pemerhati: Quote: “Zuhdi said PAS had always tried to call for a return to governance by the Quran and Sunnah, which was the cure to all of Malaysia's ills.”

Does Zuhdi want to change Malaysia into one of the Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, or Afghanistan when it was under the Taliban? Would it not be better if the country became like one of the secular democratic countries like US, UK, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Germany, etc?

Why are there so many Muslims refugees from Islamic countries and why is it that hardly any of them want to go to other Islamic countries but are desperately trying to get into secular democratic countries ruled and populated by people whom people like Zuhdi call ‘kafirs’?

Grey Matter: Zuhdi, the fact that PAS can't see right from wrong and not able to condemn PM Najib Razak or the affairs of 1MDB merely suggests that PAS has only lost its way. PAS will only make Islamic laws a mockery.

Anonyxyz: In reality why is PAS thinking they are a political power to be courted. All along they are nothing until they joined Pakatan. It is obvious they are already in cahoots with Umno acting as a spoiler.

Let it be and if PKR still want to be align with them, let them be. Better to make up its mind now instead of confusing the electorate.

Anonymous 2436471476414726: Zuhdi, you ask Mahathir to repent to satisfy your personal ego. You have to learn to move on in order to make Malaysia great again.

The pressing issues at the moment is to rid the country of a regime that is allegedly plundering our coffers through theft, corruption, abuse of power, etc.

Here you are making conditions for Mahathir who is trying to be the country's saviour. Only with a united opposition can this government be changed. Accommodate other opposition parties if you truly want to save this country before it is too late.

Francis_14a3: Dr M knows what he is doing. Though I don’t like him, I believe he is better than you, Zuhdi. He has eaten more salt than you have eaten rice all your life.

Now, Jamal brings beds, ice cream to MB's office

Citizen No.26: Sungai Besar Umno chief Jamal Mohd Yunos, the local authorities issue licences to businesses.

Massage parlours are legitimate business unless they run afoul of the law by providing sex services instead of massage.

It is the federal government’s duty through the police force to raid and arrest the operators of such errant massage parlours and charge them. Only then, the local authorities can withdraw their licences.

Anonymous 2436471476414726: Yes, if Jamal is really concerned about vice, then the right authorities to go to is PDRM (Royal Malaysian Police).

But then we all know his motive, which is to embarrass the Selangor government, in particular the MB.

Realthistime: Billions allegedly stolen yet you do not have the guts to protest this to your chief.
