The special aide to a Penang DAP assemblyperson, who is suspected of being involved in a sex crime involving a part-time waitress, has been remanded for two days.
The 50-year-old former Penang municipal councillor will be remanded until tomorrow, Northeast district police chief Anuar Omar said today.
"The remand was allowed by subordinate courts senior registrar Ahmad Tajudin Zain," Anuar added.
