Police submit their death threat probe to AG's Chambers, but...

PARLIAMENT | The police have submitted their investigation paper on death threats received by Bersih chairperson Maria Chin Abdullah and five others to the Attorney-General's Chambers.

"The investigation paper was submitted to the deputy public prosecutor on April 12, 2017," Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said in a parliamentary written reply in his capacity as the home minister.

However, Zahid said, the goverment was still waiting for a report on the threat issued through WhatsApp from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).
