Amanah secretary-general Mohd Anuar Tahir said the views expressed at the Selangor Amanah convention last Sunday are considered to be "internal" matters.
This was after the Selangor Amanah convention unanimously approved a motion urging Selangor Menteri Besar Mohamed Azmin Ali to review PAS' position in the state government, which courted the ire of Selangor PKR.
"I would like to draw attention that all views expressed at the Selangor Amanah convention are internal in nature," Anuar said in a statement.
Shortly after the Selangor Amanah convention, Selangor PKR deputy chief Zuraida Kamaruddin criticised the motion urging Azmin to act on PAS, describing it as "not mature politics."
Zuraida said it would be best for Pakatan Harapan, including Amanah, to focus on the 14th General Election.
Anuar in his statement did not mention PAS, but expressed confidence in Azmin's leadership of Pakatan Harapan in Selangor.
"Amanah is confident that the Selangor Harapan structure, chaired by Azmin, can move as a team in facing the nearing 14th General Election.
"Therefore, Amanah urges all within Selangor Pakatan Harapan to focus on planning and mobilisation towards achieving a good win in the 14th General Election," Anuar said.
