Pakatan Harapan expects to finalise state seat negotiations nationwide by the end of this month.
"After that, it will be tabled to the Harapan presidential council for approval," Harapan chief secretary Saifuddin Abdullah said when contacted today.
He added that state seat negotiations have been proceeding smoothly.
PKR vice-president Shamsul Iskandar (photo), meanwhile, said there were plans for the outcome of some of the seat negotiations to be announced during the respective state Harapan conventions to be held in the coming weeks.

The state seat negotiations will be a litmus test for Harapan on whether it can placate its grassroots leaders who have expressed dissatisfaction at the distribution of parliament seats.
Johor Amanah had boycotted the coalition's national convention on Jan 7 after the party was allocated only two parliament seats in the state, while its Federal Territories division was upset at having being given no seats at all.
However, Johor PKR chief Hassan Karim says he is confident that the state-level talks would be able to address any dissatisfaction.
"We're taking a consensus approach," Hassan said.
He said Johor Harapan expects their seat negotiations to be finalised tomorrow.
"There are some overlapping seats. We will try to resolve it at our meeting tomorrow," he said.
