Expect dirtiest polls ever, says Nurul Izzah

PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar has predicted GE14 will be the " dirtiest election ever" to take place following the expected passing of new electoral boundaries in March.

The Lembah Pantai MP also questioned the police about the "lack of action" over PKR's complaints of dubious voters in Wangsa Maju.

Wangsa Maju police chief Superintendent Mohammad Roy Suhaimi Sarif, however, assured that they will investigate the complaint about 1,429 dubious entries in the district's electoral roll.

PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's claim that there will be chaos if the opposition takes over Putrajaya is " undemocratic".

PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail questioned whether Najib's admission that there were failings in 1MDB meant the premier had found a "scapegoat".

Amanah says 'Kit Siang as PM' perception has decreased

The perception that DAP's Lim Kit Siang will be the prime minister if Pakatan Harapan takes over Putrajaya has decreased after the coalition named its PM and DPM candidates, said Amanah's Mohamad Sabu.

Harapan is unlikely to have any serious impact in Johor in the coming election, said Centre for A Better Tomorrow (Cenbet) co-president Gan Ping Sieu.

Contrary to the Johor situation, Mohd Shafie Apdal's Parti Warisan Sabah is making "surprising" inroads among the Kadazandusun and Murut electorate in the state, said political analyst Oh Ei Sun.

Sabah Harapan chair Christina Liew said the state DAP chief had unilaterally and erroneously announced that the state Harapan had come up with a "60:40" seat distribution formula.

Selangor Gerakan members lodged a police report against several Facebook users who circulated fake photos of party president Mah Siew Keong molesting a woman.
