PAS and Amanah today settled their legal tussle over a property in Batu, Kuala Lumpur, once used by the PAS division, but which became contentious after several members left for splinter party Amanah.

Both parties entered into a consent judgement before Justice Ahmad Zaidi Ibrahim at the Kuala Lumpur High Court, where PAS agreed to pay RM32,500 as a token to four Amanah members.

After payment is made, possession of the vacant property will be handed over to PAS.

In turn, the Amanah members – Rosden Mohd Yassin, M Suhaimi A Rahaman, Ismail Yahaya and Jamhor Nawawi – will revoke the power of attorney which allowed their party to use the two shop lot units...
