Umno leader blames Khaled, Hisham's cronyism for Johor's 'shameful defeat'
Pemerhati Bebas: No, Umno supreme council member Mohd Puad Zarkashi, not just party vice-president Hishammuddin Hussein and former Johor menteri besar Khaled Nordin should be blamed for Umno's defeat. All of you are responsible.
Umno was arrogant and incorrigible. You have forgotten that you were our servants, but you thought we are all here to serve you. I say good riddance. You all have passed your shelf-life.
Hopefully, a new breed of young, honest and people-serving leaders will come out from the ashes. Until then, just enjoy your retirement and pray that you've no skeletons in your cupboard.

They forgot they were elected to serve the people, and eventually became totally unaccountable to those who voted for them. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

You are only partially right, Puad, but the straw that broke the camel's back is the 1MDB mother of all financial scandals with the US$681 million that was found in MO1's (Malaysian Official 1) personal account, which no one from Umno dared to speak up on.
And with former deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi making a stupid attempt to defend him without realising that he was making a big fool of himself.

As Rome burned, Caesar just watched; there can be no resurrection of Umno, as the party had been deeply-rooted in money politics and all the branch and twig leaders have been steeped with cash as "cash is king".
