Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin said today that according to sources and predictions, more Umno MPs are expected to quit the party.

The Sabah Umno deputy chairperson told Bernama that more MPs from the party, including those in Sabah, are expected to resign.

However, he said he could not reveal any names for fear of possible defamation.

Jeli MP Mustapa Mohamed and Kimanis MP Anifah Aman announced their resignations from the party yesterday and today respectively.

Asked whether former Sabah chief minister Musa Aman would emulate his brother Anifah’s move and also quit Umno, Bung Moktar declined to comment.

As for himself, he said he would remain in the party because he is convinced that Umno will rise again.
