Anwar says he still has time to submit his asset declaration
PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said he still has time to declare his assets as he only just won the Port Dickson by-election.
He said he was given three months to do so from Oct 15, the date of his swearing-in as a Member of Parliament.
"Patience… they (MACC) gave me three months, I just won the by-election," he told reporters after the 'Meet Anwar' programme at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Serdang last night...

MACC deputy chief commissioner (Prevention) Shamshun Baharin Mohd Jamil earlier said there were 13 government MPs who have not yet declared their assets to MACC, including Anwar.
Sabah Chief Minister Mohd Shafie Apdal, who is the Semporna MP, and Perak Menteri Besar Ahmad Faisal Azumu, who is the Tambun MP, have also not declared their assets yet.
Based on the MACC website, seven PKR MPs have yet to declare their assets.
Three Bersatu MPs also yet to declare
Besides Anwar, the others are Kapar MP Abdullah Sani Abdul Hamid, Batu MP P Prabakaran, Segamat MP R Santhara Kumar, Putatan MP Awang Husaini Sahari, Saratok MP Ali Biju and Miri MP Michael Teo Yu Keng.
Three Bersatu MP have also not declared their assets. Aside from Ahmad Faisal, they are Bagan Serai MP Noor Azmi Ghazali and Sri Gading MP Shahruddin Md Salleh.
For Warisan, Labuan MP Rozman Isli has also not declared his assets.
Upko president Wilfred Madius Tangau, who is the Tuaran MP, has not submitted his asset declaration either.
Among others who have not declared their assets to the MACC include Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Mohamaddin Ketapi, Ministers in the Prime Minister's Department P Waythamoorthy and Liew Vui Keong as well as Jelutong MP RSN Rayer, Bentong MP Wong Tack and Mas Gading MP Mordi Bimol.
Ahmad Faisal had said in a statement that he has submitted his asset declaration, but the website has not been updated yet, while Liew claimed to have declared his assets, but was unable to list their value as he does not know the sums involved.
Mohamaddin claimed he was a "poor" person and need not submit his asset declaration, while Waythamoorthy claimed not to own any assets, having spent them all on his fight for the Indian Malaysian community.
