Port Dickson MP Anwar Ibrahim has urged his constituents to provide their feedback for the upcoming Port Dickson masterplan.

In a statement today, he said the plan will address issues which have been raised by constituents and social media users over the past three months.

"It is my sincere hope that the PD masterplan will kickstart the process of addressing the various long-held concerns of the community of Port Dickson.

"This is a developing programme and I welcome further feedback from my constituents," he said.

Among the main issues identified so far are the cleanliness of beaches, proper discharge of sewage, traffic congestion and dealing with abandoned construction projects, among others.

Anwar chaired a meeting on the plan today alongside Negeri Sembilan chief minister Aminuddin Harun and potential investors.

Anwar, the current PKR president, was elected as the Port Dickson MP after a by-election was held on Oct 13.
