Annuar: No decision yet on six MPs' possible return to Umno
Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa said today that the party has yet to make a formal decision on the possibility of six former MPs returning to the fold.
"If you want to confirm that story, it is better for you to ask the relevant people. For now, even though we have discussed this, we have yet to come to a decision.
"(Application letters) have not arrived on my table, even though I have heard talk (of the six ex-Umno MPs returning)...
Umno secretary-general Annuar Musa said today that the party has yet to make a formal decision on the possibility of six former MPs returning to the fold.

"For now, even though we have discussed this, we have yet to come to a decision.
"(Application letters) have not arrived on my table, even though I have heard talk (of the six ex-Umno MPs returning)," he told reporters in Tanah Rata on the campaign trail for Ramli Mohd Nor, the BN candidate for the Cameron Highlands by-election.
It was reported earlier that six MPs may walk back their decision to quit Umno last month, ostensibly due to the threat of legal action from the party.
The six lawmakers are Hulu Terengganu MP Rosol Wahid, Mersing MP Abdul Latiff Ahmad, Tasik Gelugor MP Shabudin Yahaya, Larut MP Hamzah Zainudin, Sabak Bernam MP Mohamad Fasiah Mohd Fakeh and Tanah Merah MP Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz.
Annuar stressed that Umno is an open party and that the six MPs – now independents – remain friends.
"They are all our friends, we maintained a good personal relationship with them, so if they have a change of mind, that is something we can discuss.
"It is just that at this time, there isn't anything official yet, so I cannot say yes or no," he said.
