Shah Alam Coroner Court to hear inquest into Adib's death
The inquest to determine firefighter Muhammad Adib Mohd Kassim's cause of death will be heard by the Shah Alam Coroner Court between Feb 11 and April 11.

Deputy public prosecutors, conducting the inquest led by Hamdan Hamzah, told the court today that they would be calling 30 witnesses during the inquest.
During the case management today, Coroner Rofiah Mohamad also heard from the DPP that the witnesses include six experts; among them are the doctors who attended to Adib's injuries and the forensics expert who conducted a post-mortem on his remains.
Hamdan told the court that they would also call the police investigating officer in charge of Adib's case, as well as public witnesses and members of the Fire and Rescue Department.
During the case management today, the coroner also granted the request for two parties representing Adib's family - the fire department and the Housing and Local Government Ministry - to be interested parties in the inquest.
She ruled that the interested parties would be allowed to question witnesses during the inquest, after hearing the lawyers' submissions.
The coroner also granted a request by a lawyer representing the Human Rights Commission to act as watching brief in the inquest.
Adib, who was attached to the Subang Jaya fire station, died on Dec 17 while receiving treatment at the National Heart Institute for injuries sustained during a riot at Seafield's Sri Maha Mariamman Temple.
A post-mortem was conducted on the 24-year-old's remains, before his body was taken to his hometown in Kedah for burial.
On Dec 27, Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin announced that he was informed after consultation with attorney-general Tommy Thomas, that an inquest would be held to determine the cause of death.
Meanwhile, the court also heard from Bar Council representative Cyrus Tiu Foo Woei that the council too wanted to take part in the inquest as an interested party.
Tiu also told the coroner that the temple's task force is another party that want to participate in the inquest, but their lawyer Siti Kasim could not be at the court today, as she was attending a conference in Sabah.
To this, Rofiah said the court would reserve its judgment whether to grant the Bar Council and temple task force to take part as interested parties.
She set Jan 31 to hear submissions from Tiu and Siti.
The dates for the inquest hearing that had been set by the court are Feb 11 to 28; March 1, 4, 5 and 19 to 29; and April 1 to 12.
Besides Hamdan, the other DPPs who are handling the inquest are Faten Hadni Khairuddin and Zhafran Rahim Hamzah.
Adib's family was represented by a team of five lawyers, namely Mohd Kamaruzaman A Wahab, Ahmad Taufiq Baharum, Ahmad Lutfi Awang, Mohd Zubir Embong, and Mohd Tajuddin Abdul Razak.
Lawyer Syazlin Mansor, meanwhile, represented the ministry, Fire and Rescue Department and Adib's family.
