Najib's dad would strangle him for what he did to Felda: Azmin
SEMENYIH POLLS | Should he be alive today, second prime minister Abdul Razak Hussein would “strangle” his son Najib Abdul Razak for the latter’s decisions about Felda during his tenure as premier, said PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali.
Speaking at a ceramah in Kampung Rinching Hilir last night, Azmin said this was because Najib’s administration had privatised Felda and caused it to rake up RM8 billion in debt.

Speaking at a ceramah in Kampung Rinching Hilir last night, Azmin said this was because Najib’s administration had privatised Felda and caused it to chalk up RM8 billion in debt.
“We are carrying on the late Abdul Razak’s efforts in establishing Felda. He opened up federal land and allowed settlers to work on it to improve their economic status. This narrowed the wealth disparity between the people.
“But then comes his son (Najib), who privatised Felda. If the late Abdul Razak could rise from the dead right now, he would strangle his son,” he said.
“Just look at the Felda Global Ventures (FGV) shares. From RM4.70 a share, it has plunged to only 30 to 40 sen a share,” he added.
Azmin, who oversees Felda as part of his Economic Affairs ministerial portfolio, also blamed other “Umno Malays” for the problems in the federal agency.
“Whisper to the other voters here in Semenyih that the ones who betrayed Felda are the Umno Malays. Not (DAP veteran) Lim Kit Siang, not (DAP secretary-general) Lim Guan Eng. Not DAP, not the Chinese.
“It is the Umno leaders who betrayed you and caused Felda to be what it is today,” he said.
'Bring along Rosmah'
Najib has been campaigning for BN and assuming his popular “Bossku” persona even before nomination day last Saturday for the Semenyih by-election.
Last night, Azmin challenged the former PM to bring along his significant other when canvassing.
“Don’t play-play, if ‘Bossku’ comes here, if he comes to Kampung Rinching Hilir tomorrow on a motorcycle, kids will shout ‘Bossku, Bossku’.
“If he can, don’t come alone on the motorcycle. Bawaklah yang seorang lagi tu (Bring along the other one) so that she can sit behind him on the motorcycle,” he said as the audience laughed.
Azmin was pointing to Najib’s wife Rosmah Mansor who has kept a low profile ever since BN lost the 14th general election last May.
Najib’s recent rebranding exercise, which features him riding on motorcycles with youth while touting the slogan “Malu Apa Bossku?,” has omitted any reference or association with Rosmah.
This is a marked difference from before when she would often accompany Najib to official events.
