1. Three suspects were charged for the dumping of toxic waste into Sungai Kim Kim in Pasir Gudang, Johor. Meanwhile, police are also hunting for a Singaporean to assist in their investigations.

2. Putrajaya is considering buying jets from China instead of Europe, since the European countries continue to forge ahead with policies detrimental towards Malaysian palm oil.

3. Education Minister Maszlee Malik said universities should condemn thuggish behaviour after Universiti Malaya took a fence-sitting position over the assault on its students who had protested against former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.

4. The Kedah government removed a signboard describing Japanese soldiers involved in the invasion of Malaya as "heroes" after it sparked outrage.
