Putrajaya prepared to consider others who feel qualified for fuel subsidy scheme

The government is prepared to review its recipients list if there are any party left out from the newly introduced petrol subsidy scheme, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said.

He said the Pakatan Harapan government is committed to implementing the new subsidy mechanism, which is slated to begin on Jan 1, 2020.

“We have identified the recipients. However, should there be others who feel qualified, we are open (to consider),” he said today...
