11 K'tan media reps test negative for Covid-19
Eleven media personnel in Kelantan were confirmed Covid-19 negative after undergoing swab tests for the virus yesterday, said Kelantan Health director Dr Zaini Hussin.
He said all media representatives took the test voluntarily as they were close contacts of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri who was confirmed positive for Covid-19.

He said all media representatives took the test voluntarily as they were close contacts of Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs) Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri who was confirmed positive for Covid-19.
The media personnel had covered the programme attended by Zulkifli at Dewan Jubli Perak in Kota Bahru on Sept 25.
Zaini (above) said the results of the screening test came in this morning after the media practitioners took the Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) test at Wakaf Che Yeh health clinic, near Kota Bahru yesterday.
"Following the result, all media personnel involved are not required to undergo quarantine in the houses," he said.
On Monday, Zulkifli was confirmed Covid-19 positive and is being treated at a hospital.
Nonetheless, the minister urged all who attended events involving his presence from Sept 24 to Oct 4 to undergo Covid-19 screening immediately. - Bernama
