OFFICES

- Proton headquarters, Shah Alam, Selangor

After an employee was found positive on Oct 14, an internal memo revealed that at least eight other cases have been identified since then.

According to an internal memo sighted by Malaysiakini, all employees from the affected department have been asked to work from home, self-quarantine for 14 days, and take a swab test.

- PM Mahsuri Sdn Bhd, Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh, Selangor

An employee tested positive here today, staff were informed.

The office will be closed today and tomorrow, pending instruction from the Health Ministry.

- Menara Great Eastern, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur

An employee at this office block has tested positive.

This was confirmed by the connected Great Eastern Mall when clarifying that the case does not involve the mall.

However, the mall assured that sanitation has been done according to the Health Ministry's advice.


RESIDENCES

- Taman Seri Aman, Anak Bukit, Kedah

A resident here has tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, the Kedah Health Department said.

- BSP21 Condominium, Bandar Saujana Putra, Selangor

A resident of Block J, Level 23 tested positive for Covid-19 on Oct 17.

Disinfection has been done at common areas of the complex, the management said.

- Taman Pulai Flora, Skudai, Johor

A student who lives in this residential area was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on Oct 15. This comes after the husband of a relative who had previously visited the student's house also tested positive.

- Saville @ The Park, Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur

Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil has confirmed that one of the residents at this condominium had tested positive for Covid-19.

- H2O Residences, Ara Damansara, Selangor

The management issued a notice on Oct 19 that a second resident tested positive for Covid-19. The resident has been admitted to the hospital.

The resident shares a unit with the first resident who tested positive on Oct 15 and had been under quarantine.

- Maxwell Towers, Petaling Jaya

The management has confirmed that a resident had tested positive for Covid-19. Other members of the household are undergoing tests and contact tracing is underway.

- Residensi PandanMas, Kampung Pandan, Kuala Lumpur

The management has confirmed one of their residents tested positive for Covid-19. Disinfection works have been undertaken.

- Pusat Jagaan Darul Hana, Kepala Batas, Penang

Several residents of this old folks’ home have tested positive, Bernama reported.

The management said it has taken proactive measures to isolate other residents and staff who may have had contact with the infected residents, pending advice from the Health Ministry.

- Evergreen Garden Residence, Cyberjaya

Sepang MP Hanipa Maidin has confirmed that a resident here had tested positive for Covid-19.

- Taman Bunga Raya, Sungai Petani and Kampung Padang Che Mas, Pulai, Kedah

A resident here tested positive in Taman Bunga Raya, Sungai Petani while five residents have tested positive in Kampung Padang Che Mas, Pulai, the Kedah Health Department said.

- PV13 Platinum Lake Condominium, Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur

A resident at Level 5, Block A has tested positive today after a test on Oct 17, the management said.

The management will engage a professional sanitising company to disinfect affected common areas.

- Pantai Hillpark Phase 2, Kuala Lumpur

The management announced in a notice today that a resident has been ordered to undergo home quarantine due to suspected exposure to Covid-19, and has thus far tested negative for the disease.

It reminded other residents to always wear a mask when inside lifts and other common areas, and ask others to do so if they see anyone who is not wearing a mask. Physical distancing of at least one metre should also be observed.


EDUCATION ENTITIES

- SK Tanah Kebun, Parit Buntar; SMK Aminuddin Baki, Chemor; and SK Klebang Jaya, Ipoh

Perak State Education, Human Capital Development, NGO and Civil Society Committee chairperson Razman Zakaria said the schools had been ordered to close for seven days until Oct 25 as there were confirmed Covid-19 cases among its students.

However, he did not specify how many cases have been identified.

- SMK Simpang Bekoh, Jasin, Malacca

Malacca Education Department director Mohd Azam Ahmad has ordered this school to close for seven days from Oct 19 to Oct 25 as the school has confirmed Covid-19 cases.

However, he did not specify how many cases have been identified.
